    <summary type="html">Ok, let&amp;#039;s try that thing Java console, what you posted is Chrome console, it is someting else.&lt;br /&gt;Go to Control Panel, open Java, go to tab Advanced, there is a setting Open console. &lt;br /&gt;When you reload the page with applet it shows new Window with some strange messages from Java.&lt;br /&gt;Here is better tutorial from Oracle: &lt;a href="http://www.java.com/en/download/help/javaconsole.xml"&gt;http://www.java.com/en/download/help/javaconsole.xml&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt; </summary>

    <summary type="html">I&amp;#039;m using Firefox 21.0 on Windows XP and I got the &amp;#034;Application Blocked by Security Settings&amp;#034; message without the other one. &amp;#034;Check your plugins&amp;#034; said I was up to date, but reinstalling Java, approximately the way you describe here, worked. Note to people using Firefox: don&amp;#039;t rely on &amp;#034;Check your plugins&amp;#034;!</summary>

    <summary type="html">Hi&lt;br /&gt;here is the solution for Firefox, tested on my MacOSX , FF 21, Java 1.7.0u21 .&lt;br /&gt;- I opened puzzle got message Your java version is insecure, I click Later&lt;br /&gt;- next message is Java blocked&lt;br /&gt;- so I reloaded page , got the first message, this time I clicked Update , it started to download Java.&lt;br /&gt;- Wait for download&lt;br /&gt;- close FF&lt;br /&gt;- start installation ... next... next. Now the JRE 1.7.0u25 is installed&lt;br /&gt;- start browser, open puzzle, third warning , confirm security exception&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;you can see all three messages attached.&lt;br /&gt;If something goes wrong, go to site www.java.com and install Java directly from there.&lt;br /&gt;Rasto</summary>

    <summary type="html">I tried to post this to the news post about the Java certificate:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Up till last night, I wasn&amp;#039;t getting any warning messages (I&amp;#039;m using Firefox, and had previously said Yes to the equivalent question). Now I&amp;#039;m getting a message that says the app has been blocked (&amp;#034;Your security settings have blocked an application from running with an insecure or expired jre&amp;#034;) - the only button on it is OK, so I don&amp;#039;t have an override option such as the one shown. I get the same result on &amp;#034;Show old applet&amp;#034;. My Java plugin is up to date. How do I get to the warning message you&amp;#039;ve got?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But it wouldn&amp;#039;t post my comment! It&amp;#039;s asking me to log in to Facebook. I don&amp;#039;t do Faceborg, and I &lt;strong&gt;won&amp;#039;t&lt;/strong&gt;, especially since they&amp;#039;d demand my official ID which I don&amp;#039;t use with this one. When did that happen? (Also, I&amp;#039;ve never been able to get comments by email, so I suspect the &amp;#034;Subscribe Me&amp;#034; won&amp;#039;t work for me here.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Having read the other threads: it&amp;#039;s the ordinary apps, not iGridd or the workshop, that I&amp;#039;m trying to use.</summary>

    <summary type="html">Hi&lt;br /&gt;well, with the new version of Java there are new messages. &lt;br /&gt;On the griddlers site there are two types of applications - regular applet for common users is not signed, it runs in sandbox and does not have access to file system or netwotk other than our site. You can ignore this warning message.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;iGridd applet and workshop applets are signed with certificate mentioned in the news, it has access to file system (save puzzles locally, save workshop puzzles) and the warning message is very simillar&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Rasto</summary>
