It's very easy to do, no matter what your level of computer experience!

You will use a special key on your computer that will say "Print Screen" or "PrtScr Sys Req" or some other version of those words. It is usually found near the top of your keyboard on the far right in a sequence following the F10, F11, and F12 Keys. Although your keyboard may look somewhat different, you can use the pics below to help you locate this key.

To make Print Screen work, you must save an image of what's displayed on-screen to the clipboard and then paste it into a document.

To do this, follow this procedure:
1. Maximize the window you'd like to capture.
2. To copy/capture the current window, hold down ALT + Print Scrn at the same time. To capture the entire screen, just press Print Scrn.
3. Open a new document in MS Paint, MS Photo Editor, or Adobe PhotoShop.
4. Paste the screen shot by holding down CTRL and V at the same time.
5. Save the image you create in a gif or jpg format. This is the image you will add to your request for puzzle help.

One more thing about the screenshot: after you've pasted it into your document, you can cut off the parts that aren't interesting. If you use Paint this is easy: select the part that you want to use and press ctrl-C (copy). Paste this into a new document (no need to save the other one) and there's your picture

And remember: you can't upload pictures that are bigger as 256 KB.

Good luck, Jelga

 Oopsy. Sorry, I didn't see the attachment part. Here's how it's done:
Below this writing space there are a few buttons. The 2nd from the left is Attach files.
Simply press it and see a few empty lines where you can browse through your computer files and find the one(s) you want to post.

blessed you all

In windows vista and later, there is a tool called "Snipping Tool" it is under programs ==> accessories. This makes it tons easier to capture images!

It's worth noting that taking screen shots is different on a mac.  For a complete capture of the screen you press Command+Shift+3.  If you press Command+Shift+4 to take a screenshot of a specific area.  All screenshots are saved to the desktop and can be opened and cropped in preview.  The "command" key is labled as the "apple" key on older macs.
