Thank you to all who are kind enough to sent their messages to my box so as not to ruin the fun! You people are the best!

If you'd like to send me your guess, I'll be happy to let you know if you have any correct! Just write to chefmomster2.

So far only Zandy has come up with the correct answer! Perhaps you'll be the next! If so, I'll post your name so you'll have something to "crow about"!

OK, so you're not an expert on Egyptian Mythology. Here's a website that'll help you along

http//www.nemo.nu/ibisportal/0egyptintro/1egypt/

Remember, the gods you need to learn about are Amon-Ra (Look under Amon), Anubis, Ma'at, Ra (Re), and Thoth(Thot)! Note especially the descriptions of the gods. That'll help you with that part of the quiz for sure!

If you know the answer, send a message to chefmomster2.

Good luck!

זהו חידון שהנושא שלו הוא: האם אתם מכירים את "צוות האתר" שלנו

ישנם חמישה חברי צוות -
Ra100, Hagitm, TNT, Cruinne, Elad

וישנם חמישה אלים מצריים -
Ma'at, Anubis, Thoth, Ra, Amon-Ra

The question was: can it be translated to Hebrew?
The answer was a short summary of the quiz.

TNT is NOT Thoth! (The Team member symbolized byThoth is far more hidden from our view! Probably off enjoying a beer!)

This all began over two weeks ago as a message in the forum saluting Ra100's work and with a challenge in the Team Meeting to identify "gods" for all of our Team. Now the guessing and clues are over and it's time to reap the rewards!

Here are the answers

God #1 Ra100 seen as the Egyptian god, Ra.

1. This god has a hawk's head and headdress with a sun disk.
2. Creator of the (Griddler) world and Master of its Universe!
3. The ancient Egyptians believed this god was swallowed every night by the sky goddess Nut, and was reborn every morning. (In other words, requiring sleep!)
4. Travels through our Underworld (server), a journey undertaken every night.
5. Created the world solely for mankind (not for personal enrichment).

God #2 Hagitm seen as the Egyptian god, Ma'at

1. This tall god is depicted wearing a crown surmounted by a huge ostrich feather. This god's totem symbol is a stone platform or foundation, representing the stable base on which order is built.
2. The patron of harmony, justice, truth and cosmic order.
3. Puts the ostrich feather in the scale of balance with the heart of the deceased (submitted puzzle). If it exists according to the norms, the heart is light and it passes, if not the heart is eaten up by the evil monster!
4. Sometimes called the "eye of Ra" as this god watches over Ra's creation.
5. Works closely with the other gods.

God #3 Cruinne seen as the Egyptian god, Anubis

1. The jackal headed god.
2. Works in the Hall of Ma'at, and appears on behalf of the diseased. (Sometimes our server!).
3. Guardian of the "Dead" which Egyptians viewed as the original source of all.
4. Protects the "Dead" from threats.
5. The wakening of the dead "server" is a main function of this god.

God #4 TNT seen as the Egyptian god, Amon-Ra

1. A good-looking young god with two long feathers upon a red crown.
2. "An invisible creative power which was the source of all life in heaven, and on the earth, and in the great deep, and in the Underworld, and which made itself manifest under the form of Ra."
3 This god combines the two opposites of divinity, the hidden and the revealed. As one, this god is secret, hidden and mysterious working in the caverns of our website, but as the other, this god is revealed through the visible changes in areas of the site like Most Popular and Voting.
4. The secret, or hidden attribute enables this god to be easily synchronized and associated with other deities, working well as a full and visible member of the Team..

God #5 Elad seen as the Egyptian god, Thoth

1. Usually depicted as an ibis-headed human form,or as a full ibis, or with the face of a dog-headed baboon and the body of a person or, again, as a full dog-headed baboon. The ibis, it is thought, had a crescent shaped beak, linking the bird to the moon. The dog-headed baboon, on the other hand, was a night animal who would greet the sun with chattering noises each morning.
2. This god was the Scribe who wrote the story of our Reality then placed it into grids for us to experience and learn.
3. 'Master of the Balance' interested in justice and living a balanced life. This god is multi-talented and interested in many things desiring a life of richness and balance.
4. A master magician who won the addition of five extra days to the calendar, much to the delight of his closest ally, Ma'at.

Good job Chef and Caro, the puzzles look very interesting (although I haven't totally solved them yet). Your diligence is greatly appreciated.

It was a lot of fun learning about the different gods. Thanks for a great job.
