We are going to release an iGridd application for iPhone and iPad. Of course, it won't be the same as other our applications because of the limitations of these small devices but we will try to make it as good as possible.
What’s different from the puzzles in our site?- There is no mouse on iPhone. So you'll have to use your fingers to put the cursor on the correct place and then tap the color button after that.
- The screen size is much smaller than a usual PC. This means the puzzle size is limited. On an iPhone there can be up to 20 cells with readable two digits numbers inside. It means the puzzle size can be approximately 15x15, with still enough space left for the clues. For the iPad the situation is much better, the maximum puzzle size will be close to 50x50.
- The application has no access to our on-line database of puzzles. There will be 60 built-in puzzles. More bundles can be ordered in the AppStore.
- So far there is no connection with your on-line user account, but we will work on that for the next release.
When will be the application available? Soon. Follow this forum thread and you will be informed.
