Well, to be precise, lady bugs have 2, 4, 5, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22 or 24 symmetrical points. The placement is irregular in the sense, that there are no 'vertical' rows.

Both good and wrong. Usualy ladybirds (funny the "bird" in the name, though it is an insect) have 7 points in irregular placement. This species, however, must have had som dice in the row of ancestors :-)
