that was really hard. i had mistakes on the first two attempts. finally, it took me one hour just to get started. some lucky guesses along the way, but still 01:51:02

Finally! The third time I started over, it took 8 3/4 hours. The diagonal with 1 red and 23 yellow starts in the 38th triangle from the top left and goes down from there.
