I do no understand why everyone has to get in an uproar over the title of this puzzle. If I am correct, the title was simply borrowed from the book Animal Farm. I do not think the author meant to cause a debate over animal rights or whether or not people who eat beef are cruel. Either way, cute cow.

The way I see it, a cow has the right to live so long as it is able to provide me with milk. The moment it can't provide milk, it is either too old or somehow handicapped/disabled, and should be put out of its misery (letting a disabled animal live with no purpose in life is just cruel) and then donate its edible meat and leather to the people who need it. Pigs, however, only exist to give me bacon.

Nice cow - friend and food - if we didn't eat beef, lamb etc the animals would disappear from the farms as no farmers could afford to raise beasts for no profit!

Very nice puzzle, but speaking as one who is daily battling to retain my right to own pets, I find the title deeply offensive. Animal rights is NOT animal welfare. Do your research people, or lose your own rights.
