hes | great! |
gicaesar | And I thought it's going to be Gavroche, the character from th French Revolution :-))) Excellent, fineke, as always... |
_tirian_ | It is how he pronounces "Gosh". It's sort of his catchphrase. Great pic, btw! |
karinknipping | What does Gawrsh mean? Is that his name in another language? |
ravey13 | This characters name is Goofy, but he often says, "Gawrsh!" which is just his quirky pronunciation of "Gosh!" In some states in the USA, an R sound is often inserted where there is no R, words like "wash" would be pronounced "warsh" or boiling, "burling". I don't think you hear it as much anymore, but around the WWII era, you'd hear it a lot in Southern states. |
zorbak | Great challenge. Love the subtle use of colour. |
fineke | true! I try to avoid the -orientation if possible, I tried it with this one but he got an ugly face! |
majja | very nice, but it would be better with the other orientation |
kokomo | Nice picture. I love the clue for this. |
