mje | I don't know why trombones came up here: this is not a trombone, and the title *says* it is a trumpet; and trumpets do not have a slide. Most trombones do, but there is a somewhat rare valved trombone without a slide. This image is probably as correct a likeness of a trumpet as it is possible to achieve in a puzzle of this size. |
grand_behemoth | Where's the slide? That looks more like a trompet.... Oh and Reir17>> if you thinks that looks like a tibia, you should have paid more attention in Anatomy class |
maartjeiris | whahaha |
reir17 | Who said that this was a musical instrument? It's definetely a BONE (let's say a tibia) with TROMBS on it!!! Can you see it now? |
leiacellaa23 | uhhhh....definitely not a trombone. I would think that even a valved trombone would have a slide....maybe it's a bugle with some decoration? |
emmamartina | well, as a musician...this isn't a trombone, and not a trumpet...but, it looks more like a trumpet than a trombone. Nice to solve though! |
mlecow555 | but stil... valve trombones have a slide looking thingy sticking out past the bell.... so this is definitely NOT a trombone |
suite_heart | this is not a trombone! |
josie_t | not quite a trombone and not quite a trumpet. I think you have the two mixed together... |
paukenpietje | you ever played trombone? wasn't it a trumpet? but thanks, nice to puzzle |
uciphd | no need to repeat what's been said previously... |
shaanb | That's a trumpet!! Not bugle or trombone, but still good! |
jeremie | This really IS a trumpet (with no valves)... Sowy |
kimmyrafter | there are valve trombones, get over it ;) |
i_hate_hares | Sorry Ra, but that's a trumpet (or maybe a bugle...) |
singinglizard | Only SLIDE trombones have the slides.... But this does look a little short to be a trombone... |
bovineboy2008 | There are valved trombones so this could very well be a trombone |
exfiler | As a Trumpet, good. As a trombone...just a wee bit short... |
wbennett | I'm not sure what that is. Tromblones have a long rounded slide. Trumpets, on the other hand, have valves on top of the instrument. |
rowdee | nice trumpet |
bangled | I have never of a trombonologist but I do know trombones don't have valves it looks more like my trumpet. |
kayton | It's a trumpet, not a trombone. Trombones don't have valves. |
gicaesar | I doubt strongly it can play... |
vixen999 | Never heard of a trombonologist! |
baba44713 | Well I am a reknown trombonologist and I say this is the trombonest trombone I've seen in years! Jolly good! Now carry on. |
timon92 | fajne |
rainbow_weaver | Definately a misnomer, but a nice puzzle, nonetheless. |
kkeller | I play trombone and this is definitely a trumpet. |
skoolkid | That's a trumpet, but it was still a nice puzzle. |
wouter | boeren |
mindersusie | Definitely a trumpet. I have three trumpet players in my house. |
gus | More of a trumpet than a trombone |
luweewu | A sliderless trombone??? |
